RESEARCH, TEACHING INTERESTS, AND HONORS

Jim LaTourrette received the B.S. degree in Physics from the CaliforniaInstitute of Technology in 1953, the M.A. from Harvard University in 1954,and the Ph. D. from Harvard University 1958.

His has done research on High Pressure Discharge Lamps with metalhalide additives, Coherent Optical Radar, Frequency Stabilization of Lasersand Laser Saturated Resonance studies of Molecular Spectroscopy. His earlyinterest in computers was for calculations of molecular spectra. His currentresearch interests are in programming languages and algorithms. See examplesof his collaboration:
